Panamerican Championships and IRS Seminar 2012

From October 10th to 14th took place in Sucre, Bolivia, the Panamerican Championships for Parataekwondo, Kyorugi and Poomsae, it also took place the PanAm Open for Kyorugi and Poomsae.

The Brazilian National Team got 4 golds, 1 silver and 7 bronze medals, the event was a success despite the high altitude of the location, placed in the Andes Mountains, Sucre was a welcoming city to such a big event.

From October 17th to 20th in Santa Cruz, took place the Kyorugi International Referee Seminar and Refresher Course, Santa Cruz is a city located in the Bolivian lowlands, known for being the most developed city in Bolivia and full of history mixed with modern facilities.

For 4 days, a few dozens of Taekwondo Referees trained together to improve their skills and update themselves with the most recent changes to the competition rules. It was also time to meet old friends, make new ones and share our love with Taekwondo.

Master César Valentim was a coach for both Poomsae and Kyorugi in Sucre and attended the International Referee Seminar being now approved as Kyorugi International Referee. He is now the only Referee in Vienna with both International Poomsae and Kyorugi licenses.
